CAPtivate
CAPtivate is an ambient light that you personalise withs collected bottle caps creating different colours and patterns.
Only 5.5% of plastic bottles sold in the UK are recycled, which leaves 40 thousand tonnes going into landfill each year. Bottle caps are not generally recycled as they are made from a different plastic to the bottle.
CAPtivate was designed to use this waste, turning it into an ambient light. Bottle caps can be collected to personalise the light to create different colours and patterns. This involvement with the creation keeps you interested and involves you in active reuse.
Each light comes with approximately 50 caps but to cover the light completely more bottle tops must be collected.
