Lucy Norman graduated in 2007 from the University of Brighton with a First Class Honours degree in Product Design BSc, winning the Engineering prize for best overall performance.
Lucy works as a freelance designer in London. Her most recent projects include display design for Urban Outfitters, product design for a Harper Collins book, and set design for the Tufnell Park Theatre Company. Last year Lucy exhibited her work in London at New Designers 07, in Newcastle at [Re]Design Contains and in East Sussex at the Ditchling Museum. She will also be exhibiting this year at 100% Design in Earls Court, London, from the 18th to the 21st September.
Lula Dot was created at the beginning of 2008 and operates from a studio/gallery in Hackney. The latest products added to the collection have focussed on the issue of waste and recycling. They encourage emotional attachment and therefore increase a product's durability.
